Frequently Asked Questions

What is your blog all about?

For the longest time I tried to find a cohesive look and color pallet for my social media. Eventually I finally admitted to myself that one color pallet is just not for me. I love all aesthetics, I love all colors, I love the endless variety of themes and inspirations. So I decided to break the mold and build little faux beauty collection launches to test and expand my skills. This way my content is consistent by my color pallets are continually changing!

I have an idea for a blog theme! Do you take suggestions?

ABSOLUTELY. DM me or fill out my contact page. If I use your idea, obv I will give you a shoutout!

Why do you slightly adjust the spelling of the brands you use in your blog posts?

There is a line between fan art and infringing on IP laws, especially because brands are trademarked and copyrighted so this way I am a flying under the radar. If you represent a brand and would prefer I not use your image, even altered, let me know. I will adjust the post to remove any part or parts that you would like.

Where do you get your inspiration for your blog posts?

Life. Since these aren’t real collections, I can get real weird and quick with producing these ideas. I like to explore trending colors and pop culture like TV, music, and movies.

Sometimes it feels like ideas find me. Like there is an external force that places the ideas in my head. And sometimes I am watching a movie and want to make a collection about it.

Why is your logo a snowflake?

I am from Minnesota. We are snow. It felt right.

You don’t have pricing listed anywhere, why?

Needs of every individual project vary SO MUCH. Some graphics and illustrations are as inexpensive as $40 and some packages can be as expensive as $750+. It entirely depends on what you want or need. It also depends on what format you need. Vectors take more time to create than pixel art. Additionally, if you have multiple revisions, that can increase the price as well.

What programs and tools do you use?

  • iPad pro (4th gen) + Apple Pencil
  • Procreate App
  • Cannon M50
  • Affinity Photo
  • Affinity Designer
  • Filmora Pro

*I don’t use Adobe products

Ugh. I don't wanna fill out your contact form. Its a whole thing. Is there another way to contact you?

OMG. I totally get it. When I was setting up my contact form I was like, LOL. I never fill these things out.  Just DM me on social media. IG and FB work great. I think my phone number is on my contact page too. That works for texting. Plz don’t call. And if you do, plz don’t leave a voicemail.

What is polish pickup?

It is a monthly, 4 day online shop that starts on the first Friday of every month at polishpickup.com. Independent nail polish makers (of which, there are hundreds) come together to offer an exclusive polish based on a theme that the community voted on in months prior. It is super fun and a lively online community. Check out their facebook groups to learn more.

I design monthly stickers or magnets based on the theme.

Who took your branding photos?

Krizia Studios! She is great. Book her. If she sets up her site I will link here.

LOL. A side part in your hair?

Alright, listen. My photos were taken in Sept 2020. I had no idea side parts were out. I center part now, ok?
