If CND Vinylux released a library-themed collection, I think it could look a little something like this.

I don’t know if library aesthetic is a thing but I am out here inventing it because how can you not be inspired by stacks of old books on a table beside shelf after shelf after shelf of books! Not to mention fancy book ends, bookmarks, reading glasses, yellow’d newspaper, etc!

Embarrassing little story. I hated reading for the longest time. My reading comprehension was horrible. I am still a slow reader but that is ok. Anyway, I had to do a book report in like 4^th grade and I didn’t want to read a whole book because I was slow and I just had no interest. My little 4^th grade pea-brain thought to myself, ‘well, there is no way the teacher can read 48 chapter books to review all of our book reports for accuracy so I’ll just a pick a book with a cover I like and make up a story.’ So that is what I did. I picked up Treasure Island. Not only did I not read the book jacket to learn the gist of the story but I didnt even glance inside to even learn the main characters names! Anyway, I turned it in and failed that assignment because it turns out that 4^th grade teachers are quite familiar with all the 4^th grade reading level books in the school library. OOPSIES.

I am still not much of a reader, still, unless it is HOT tea with gossip being transmitted thru text. LOL!
