Honey x Christian Dior

If Christian Dior did a Limited Edition Honey-inspired collection launch, I think it could look a little something like this.

Yellows are not popular in the nail polish world but luckily for me, I don’t care. LOL. I love yellows! I think many shades of yellow nail polish make your nails look like they have fugus at quick glance, so it kind of makes sense that they’re an unpopular color for nails. I think yellow looks particularly fab on darker skin tones but that doesn’t stop me, a fair-skinned girl of Irish harritage, from busting out some yellows every once in a while.

Honey and Honeybees are super popular right now because I think they’re kind of in jeopardy. I created this lil collab as an ode to the lil guys who pollinate our world. I really liked these Dior bottles because they are so extra and they kind of look like honey pots to me. And actually, when dior comes out with a limited edition nail polish collection, they use these bottles, so my use is quite on brand for their pattern.

Mood Board

Color names and descriptions from left to right

**Mango** A mango-flesh colored base with yellow shimmers.

**Inside the Comb** A blackened jelly base with red/orange/yellow flakies

**Honeycomb** A pale, muted yellow with bright, white shimmers

**Dripping Hive** Tri-thermal crème. Black (cold) to Brown (warm) to yellow (hot).

**Sweet Nectar** This is a reddish/orange jelly base with a strong yellow-y gold shimmery shift

**Milk and Honey** A crème crelly base with large, yellow-orange chunk circle glitters

Of course, the collection would come in a perfectly manicured, matching box.
